Matt developed an interest in real estate at an early age, observing his parents working together as a homebuilder and Realtor team. He attended James Madison University and graduated in 2008 with an Accounting Degree. He spent 5 years working as an accountant with a “big four” firm and earned his CPA. As a CPA, Matt learned about many different business types and strategies that have advanced his business acumen and real estate knowledge. In 2014, he decided to follow his passion and transitioned to a full-time Realtor.
Matt’s top priority is building sustainable relationships with his clients by easing their concerns regarding their enormous emotional and financial transaction that buying or selling a home is. He would like his client’s to focus on the clear-cut figures of their transaction, but realizes that the emotional aspect typically play the larger role. He believes a successful transaction can be accomplished through clear communication, education his clients on the process and his expertise in the current market. Matt understands people in this area have demanding work schedules and makes himself available when they are able to conduct business.
Matt and his wife, Kelly, recently purchased a home in Falls Church and reside there with their young daughter. He was born and raised in the area and is a graduate of George Mason High School, where he played Football, Basketball and Lacrosse. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth basketball and rooting for DC sports teams.
